For the last couple of years I have booked a number of overseas sites and at least three European Tours with the club. The bookings were all made in early December with the holidays due in in the Spring or Summer the following year. I have always taken out
Red Pennant cover and on one occasion had to make a claim when the holiday had to be cancelled at very short notice following the unexpected death of my mother. At the time of making previous bookings it was not possible to take out Red Pennant cover as the
premiums had not been agreed for the following year. Exactly the same scenario has happened again this year - holidays booked with the club but Red Pennant will not be available until later this week. Insurance is there to cover for the unexpected and at some
point in most people's lives a claim will have to be made. Surely the Club can coordinate things so the whole package can be booked at the same time?
