Guests in a tent.

We are considering a week away next Spring with friends who are tenters...hardened campers through and through as they travel all over the Highlands and Islands and have a VERY expensive tent..

So if I book a pitch with awning space ( we don't have an awning  and don't intend buying one just for this particular week) so would like to know if it's possible for them to come as our guests and put their small tent on  the awning space.
