Turning circle- question for mathematicians
We have a single axle caravan 7.25metres long, including draw bar.
How much space do we need if we back it into a shared forecourt and want to turn it by 90 degrees ie a quarter turn So that it is positioned right in front of our garage?
Most of our neighbours are fine about us bringing the van home for a day or two 2 -3 times a year for cleaning / winter clear out etc but one lot are being rather difficult. Although the drawbar does encroach by about a foot in front of their garage they
have never used it for putting their car away. However, because they are technically in the right I would like it to face in front of our garage so they've got nothing to complain about. Luckily the neighbours next to us are rarely there and they wouldn't
mind if our van went into their area widthways When they are away.
