Sad  to  hear  of  the  passing  of  John  Disley,  who,  along  with  his  compatriot Steeplechase  Runner Chris  Brasher,  Started  The  London  Marathon.  In  a  round-a-bout  way  he  was  responsible  for  improving  the  fitness  of  thousands,  and 
helped  raise  millions  for  charity  by  this  action.
