What would be your top Dos and Don'ts of caravanin

HI

After a couple of years of going with the inlaws in there van we have finally decided to buy our van. (after much searching we have bought one today :) )

Just wandered what top tips below had for a novice caravaner". Unfortunatley my father in law passed away recently so we will not get the bennefit from his experience.

Any good dos and don'ts would be greatly appreciated.
