Roscoff to Quimper route

Could anyone advise us on the best route to tow a caravan from Roscoff to Quimper.  We are towing with an older car that doesnt like hills very much and we are quite heavy laden.  We have thought of using the dual carriage way via Brest although it
look quite a bit longer than the straighter roue.  Looking at the route there seems to be a few hills on the more direct route.
