Does size matter

This might have been asked before, but here goes

I have seen satallite dishes for caravan ranging from 54cm- 80cm does it make any diffrence to the reception or the setting up , i will only be useing it now and then when i cant get anything on the status one and only in this country so not going to spend
a great deal on one, but dont want a suitcase type either
