I want to learn to cook

Jumbo chops

Right so Im not looking to do anything too fancy, all I'm after is to be able to put a meal together, ok a little more flavour some than the usual with ingrediants that I can get from my local supermarket.

Any one, any where have any recommendations for a cook book?
