Petrol Stations in France.

Hi Folks, last year while travelling through France i noticed that when we arrived at petrol stations on the autoroutes with a large Caravan in tow, we found some of the roads that you are directed around the pumps/services can sometimes be very narrow for
both car and caravan! My question is, can i use the pumps that all the wagon/lorries seem to be directed to use?? Thank-you.
