Road map of Spain and Tom Tom advice

We are travelling to spain this year, and I am trying to find a road map of Spain with scale 1:250,000. Most seem to be 1:800,000. Can anybody advise. Also need advice on TomTom. After some research still unsure what to buy. What are other CT members using.
