Ferry & Eurotunnel
Hello, I'm just back from a business trip to Belgium where I took my Trafic Van (that I use to tow caravan with). As we are looking at planning touring into Europe next summer I had the opportunity to look ahead at boarding with caravan at Eurotunnel going
(no problem at all) and came back P&O Calais (due to migrant probs at tunnel !). The getting onto & off ferry looks no problem BUT the parking (as guided by crew) is very tight. A Maserati parked next to me and the driver apologised to me as he opened his
door onto the side of the van ! All I could see were passengers squeezing past cars with holdalls & handbags not really caring how they got past with potential scratching and dislodged mirrors.
Is this just to be expected taking caravans onto ferries ?
