Stand alone caravan speakers (not built in)
We have a 20 year old Luna tourer that we love and are looking for some speakers to fit ourselves. We don't have many overhead lockers to fit inbuilt speakers, and don't want to lose any storage space. The van has a large open shelf running across the full
width of the front, bending around the corners to meet up with the lockers; where we are hoping to site the speakers. We have a good quality car stereo to connect to but I am struggling to find decent quality stand alone speakers to fit. I bought some cheap
marine/caravan speakers but they were useless (lesson learned about getting what you spend!!). We have a reasonable budget and are happy to spend on the right product. Not sure how to find out about speaker wattage
and how it affects output and sound quality. All suggestions/recommendations gratefully received!
