Towing a Smart 453 Fourtwo with an auto gearbox

A warning to anyone thinking about using an A frame to tow a new Smart 453 Fourtwo with an auto gearbox: DON'T!!!!!

I have just put my car into the workshop as it came up with a "transmission malfunction, take to workshop" message having followed the instructions on towing from my Smart dealer, which were "you can flat tow in neutral" with the auto gearbox. However, it
has been pointed out to me that the Smart manual says you can only tow "30 miles at 30mph." Let's wait and see what the garage says.......
