 Just a word of caution for all campers who would normally just arrive at this site and get a pitch.

The manager told us that he has lost 60% of his pitches to the overflow from the river, the lower areas of the site are a washout.  He was trying to accommodate people wherever he could, but some were turned away. Fortunately
we had booked before we left the UK.  He was optimistic about how long it would take for the pitches to be usable again if there was no rain, but on leaving the site yesterday it was tipping down.
