We will be visiting Lake Maggiore in a week or two and I am wondering whether to include a couple of days by Lake Orta. We have previously visited Omegna but never stayed nearby. We often visit Maggiore.

There are two ACSI sites on Orta of which Camping Royal seems the better. Is it worth the detour and any site recommendations?
