Bye Bye Lidl, Hello Waitrose

There have been many posts on how Aldi and Lidl are such great value that yesterday we visited our "local" Lidl for the first time. Yes, there were some cheap items but they were all unknown brands. Our experience in Aldi in France is that you get what you
pay for with unknown brands.

So, nothing caught our eye except for very cheap soft fruit and we bought two different cartons. Turned out most of the fruit was mouldy. Back to Waitrose then?
