French roadside signs - Changes?????

I'm sure those of us who travel to France regularly have got used to all the roadside advertising signs. It appears that from the 13th July there will be changes to the law outlawing many of these signs in certain areas.

Different articles seem to interpret things somewhat differently, but just be aware that the familiar sign you always used to find a particular campsite may just not be there any more.
