Credit Card Exchange Rates

I'm off to Europe for about 8 weeks this summer and thought I'd check out the exchange rates for the two credit cards I carry, both commission free on foreign purchases.
Card 1 is a Nationwide Select Visa card which today's rate is €1.39367 to the pound.
Card 2 is a Post Office Platinum MasterCard and today's rate is €1.42939.
So, that's a difference of 3 cents to the pound.
Reading the source of the exchange rates it would appear that MasterCard is the better bet, so if you have an option use the MasterCard.
PS unfortunately I bought a load of Euros a few weeks ago !
