To be honest, Sundance, with about a hundred reviews available on line for Altomira, and double that number for Bonterra, will one or two more comments sway things?
The temperature at Valencia in December ranges from 5C average minimum to 15 C average maximum.

Eurotraveller summed it up. Never been to Bonterra, but it looks a huge site, whereas Altomira is fairly small on the outskirts of a nice village. We liked it last December. Some interesting walking and cycling - you can bike up the Via Verde, a gentle
slope, as far as you like and then all the way back hardly pedalling at all. There's also a train to Valencia.Depends what you want.

We stayed at Bonterra Park last Ocober for 5 days. The site isn't huge by Spanish standards, its a good size. The pitches vary in shape and size (they are colour coded) There are many overwinterers at this site who arrive in late September and stay until
March/April time. The facilities are good, the pitches are all hardstanding gravel, the roads are tarmac. There is a chap (english) on site who will for a fee set you up with full Satellite reception on your tv if you so wish. There is good wifi. There is
a Mercadona across the road from the site and a Lidl 5 minutes walk, the town is a little further but walkable. The sea front is 500m walk away and you can walk/cycle/skate for miles. Should you wish to stay at this site it is strongly advised that you book
well in advance, most book as they leave in March for the next year.0
