Tried to book a CL

My wife tried to book a CL for Easter to be told "Oh I will have to ring my regulars and see if any of them want to come that week-end, can I ring you back tomorrow??" Now I know CLs are owned and run by the property owners but they do use the "Certificated
Licence" granted by the club which negates the need for individuals to apply for planning through their local councils so I think that the CL should be run in the spirit that the club promotes, that is first come first served. Needless to say they have not
rung back either. Thats the beauty of touring I suppose, I will go elsewhere.
