So, have I got this right? All 3 of us agree that it would be good to see some sort of statement from HO? Phew, glad we got that sorted out! Laughing

Write your comments here...More or less but there has still been no comment from those on the front line who have to run the sites ie Any of the warden staff who are members on here. .  IMO this would be helpful

    Cool

Unlike some, I guess they do not feel either the need or desire to make speculative, sensational comment about things that they themselves have not witnessed! There are always two sides to a story and only those who witness events are clearly in a position to make 'valued' comment. The rest are merely guessing and I'm not sure that is really helpful in the slightest!

I am whiling away the time on here on our homeward journey so have been reading quite a few posts. Sadly there are a lot of negative reviews for Clumber Park just now. Usually someone from the CC is keeping an eye on reviews, ( just like hoteliers and restaurants
do and the good ones always respond swiftly.) One of my bugbears on here has been customer care, it's patchy to say the least. Some sections, like insurance, get responses and offers "to look into this" etc. Not so the UK sites section which in some ways forms
a major portion of the web site. If this forum is to be of any use to contributors customer care needs to get into action on issues raised.

    Brue

I have also read a couple of dozen of the most recent reviews. It does not help that they do seem to contradict each other although in fairness there is a clear picture building up. Given that many of the complaints are about the wardens I am not quite sure
how any member of staff could give a fully satisfactory answer in a public forum. Clearly it is up to the Area Manager to follow this up but I doubt there would be any more than a generalise comment that won't satisfy many here. I will however bring this to
the attention of the Community Manager to see if there is anything the Sites Department can share with us.

    Hi everyone,

This thread was reported to the Sites Operations team last week, and they have been investigating the comments made. the Regional Manager for Clumber Park has commented:

“We have investigated the comments raised and have put in place actions to rectify the issues.”

Please be assured that all comments on this thread are taken seriously and have been noted.

    Thank you

Hopefully the situation will return to normal, folks will enjoy their stay and reviews will improve.  Time will tell!

As I was the one who alerted HQ I'd like to add my thanks to Rochelle for picking up on this one.

"We have investigated the comments raised and have put in place actions to rectify the issues.”

Mmmm I would have expeceted something more along the lines of "I am sorry to hear that the site has not met the expectations of numerous members. I have investigated the comments and have now put actions in place to rectify. I am once again sorry for a site
which i am responsible for has failed to deliver the high standards of which the Caravan Club sets" then again the reply was typically Caravan "Club" what I am I thinking, for a moment I thought they were concerend about members, how foolish of me.

I thought you had contacted HQ direct Stewart, not via the forum? Have you not had a private response yet?

Sadly typical, Stewart of an organisation that has grown too arrogant to care about its customers.

    Yes and no

I contacted the club as I said in numerous posts and have heard nothing.

I spend more and more time in Europe where prices are cheaper and service is better. I think the day has come when the Caravan Club needs to stop kidding themselves on, it has not been a club for a very long time.
