Reports on road condition

My wife and I plan to travel to the Costa Blanca area in Spain in March with our caravan.
I have never towed in snow and feel uneasy about the thought. I have a BMW X 5 fitted with snow tyres. I have also bought a set of Michellin snow chains for the back wheels. But, do I need anything for the caravan?
Please can anyone sugest the best way to check on road conditions and snow forecasts in France and Spain. Neither of us speak French or Spanish unfortunately.
