Going on the old saying that a frown is just an upside down smile, would it be safe to say that now the dark nights are drawing in and the temperatures starting to lower, that many forum contributors will now start to have a broad grin on their faces, rather
than wandering around with a face like a smacked bottom... 
The dogs will still be there next season, as will the children, the wardens, the speed humps, the pitching pegs and the host of caravan related businesses taking a wedge of cash from you...
