I have a Lunar Ariva GT (1998) and regularly use the shower! Find it a lot better than many boat showers I have used over the years...!

A bucket in the cockpit, do you mean? Cold at beginning and end of season and embarrassing in a marina. Wink

Lol! I had a Sealine 285 and remember the the wife holding a watering can of warm water as a shower while I stood on the bathing platform in the marina... It was a good way of saying "good morning" to the other boat owners (wearing shorts) who were doing
    the same thing!!! Sealed

just had a few days where we were handy to the shower block so decided to use these in lieu of the van shower which we normally use....however o do find it a bind to get out of bed, het dressed, walk to the shower, get washed and then get dressed again before
    strolling back to the van...

much prefer just falling out of bed, straight into the shower without the hassle of 'clothes'....

of course, i could do what many others seem to do.....walk around the site in pyjamas, dressing gown or a leopard print onesie.....Undecided

I much prefer to shower in the motorhome, it's so much more convenient.  I think the cost of having showers on site is extortionate to say the least.   You wouldn't catch me walking round a site in my jim jams, no way.

What are jim jams, pyjamas, onesies? Eu Naturel in our caravan Tongue Out

Could be worse, in my days of river racing when camped out overnight the first thing in the morning was to wee on your wetsuit to defrost it, how things have changed with bathrooms in caravans

We use mainly our van shower, it's one of the large walk in types.  If near the facilities, and it's not cold or wet, I sometimes go the the block, but only if it has  really nice, clean showers.

Aways go in my dressing gown, nobody seems bothered, but I generally go last thing at night anyway.

We use the wet/lather/rinse method and can get 2 showers from 1 Aquaroll, but I usually shower first, then empty and refill for OH while the water is re-heating.

We leave the shower to dry naturally, but do have an Omnivent in the bathroom ceiling to remove the steam.

Lunar give you a decent size shower and we now use that rather than any shower block. We have not tried getting two out of the aquaroll bit feel it would do it. The warm carpeted floor beats any cold concrete or tiled shower block for us.

We have a on board water storage in our caravan which holds 40 litres plus the roll.. but we only use the shower for my 4 year old if we need to as we use on site facilities.. tbh I have  found most of them to b excellent standard.. due to me being a long
distance hgv away for 3 or 4 weeks at a time.. i use motorway services for showers but they are not very good at all some are good and alot are total rubbish dirty moldy smelly so I try to use truck stops as they are looked after and clean..
