Toulouse - anyone ever stayed here

We are thinking of calling in at Toulouse on our way North next week, anyone stayed there if so what's it like?  also Rocamador, can anyone recommend a site as near to Rocamador as possible. we've looked in the books we have and found a few but a recommendation
would be good if anyone could help. Many thanks.
