Site recommendations near Royan, France please

hi, planning a few days somewhere near Royan, France and wondering if anyone has experiences to share of sites near there. Timing will be around 11-16 Sept, so assume peak crowds will have gone by then? if possible, like to be within walking distance to
coast and a few bars/restaurants/shops. God quality toilets and showers are important.

further north ok, but want to avoid La Rochelle as already been there. No further south due to itinerary plans.

    Perhaps Beausoleil in La Palmyre - close to village centre and about 500 metres to the sea. Price is €17 with an ACSI card but crowds will certainly be gone - it closes on 17 September 2016.

    Hi, Have a look at Le Logis Du Breuil site at St Augustin which is near Royan. we have been going to this site for a number of years, big pitches new shower block which is kept very clean, new swimming pool this year, owners make you very welcome.
