Stopover Perpignan - Carcassone area

We are due to leave Benicassim in a weeks time and will probably take the "Southern route" via Perpignan.We are looking for a stopover between Perpignan  and Carcassone. La Masia at Blanes was our first thought but we would like to get further on into France.Camping La Nautique at Narbonne looked a good spot but it doesn't open until 1st March. We would also have like to visit Carcassone but that would be unnecessarily too far.

We would be grateful for any suggestions of sites open and handy to the route.
