Route please from Caen to Denia

Looking for a almost toll free route from Caen to Denia in Spain Do we go down the west coast of France or along the med coast of France from Perpignan via Barcelona ? Any over night stops that youcan recommend on the west coast of France ? We have plenty
of time but need to arrive in the sunshine sooner rather than later !!

    Three  choices for the route to be honest.

    Either use a decent road map which marks toll roads and non toll in different colours. Or use Via Michelin on your computer and ask for a non toll route. Or wait for someone here to do it for you. Have a safe journey.

    Spanish Tolls are less than French ones. I haven't driven the old N10 past Bordeaux for many years but a virtually toll free route through Spain is N121Pamplona, N234 Zaragoza, N420 Teruel, N330 Utiel then the Autovia del Este to pick up the A7 just west of Valencia branching off on to A38 which becomes the N332. Since you want to reach the sun sooner rather than later, bite the bullet and use L'Aquitaine autoroute.
