Aldi caravan steps. Beware! Check yours

If you have bought a set of the Aldi Caravan Steps that were on sale earlier this year please check them.

We bought a set and they collapsed after just a couple of uses. The problem we had was the very poor welding giving way. The front and back tie bars are hollow as are the side tubes. There are only a couple of welds to hold them in place. The tubing is quite
thin too.

We had to buy a new set from a caravan dealer and I am pleased to say they were much better quality. Square tubing, better welding and more bracing. They were only £5 more than the Aldi ones too.
