Problems at Caen

Afternoon all

Just received the follwoing information:

FRANCE – FARMERS BLOCKADING AROUND CAEN

The motorways surrounding Caen are being blockaded by French farmers.

As things stand, the worst affected area is to the south of Caen, where the N158 from Falaise joins the Caen ring road.  Brittany Ferries customers are being advised to divert to Bayeux, avoiding the Caen ring road.  From Bayeux, head for Douvres-La-Délivrande
and then back towards Caen via Mathieu on the D7.  This brings you onto the ring road one junction before the exit for Ouistreham.  As things stand, this part of the road is clear of blockades, although the situation is constantly changing.
