dogs on beaches in Holland and Germany

Good Morning,
We are going to either Germany or Holland in August, taking the motorhome and the hound! We are looking for a campssite very close to a sandy beach, where dogs are allowed all day or a relatively short walk to the dog beach is expected, which is understandable.
On the North German North Sea coast, there are mainly grass dykes, and on a few in Holland I have seen, they admit dogs only until 9am and then after roughly 7pm. Can anyone help from past experience?
