TV in Spain - has it changed

Hello guys
Looking for some help! A member called me today with the following query:
Spain are currently or just about to replace the Astra 1 satellite - does anyone know if this change will make any difference to UK tourists who take SKY abroad with them?
T.V technology is not my strong point! any feedback welcome!!
