Is European Caravaning really much better than UK?

Hi All.

With lots of beautfiul places within our own country i often wonder why people tour on the continent, but at the same time i'm often curious as to the benefits apart from the weather.

Can anyone share there expieriences on this, such as recommended countrys, the good and bad, how do there sites compare to ours etc?
