Noseweight query

Being a "newby" to towing still don't understand nose weights,I would load our Lunar to a noseweight of 70kg Lunar reccomend 50kg min and my car had a max nose weight of 75kg and this was fine I felt confident towing but I've bought new car that has a max
nose weight of 100kg and when I towed for first time last week it felt different the van seems to move around more,when I hit a patch of raised tarmac the van started swaying badly luckily it stopped when taking foot off accelerator.Would increasing the nose
weight make for a more stable set up?
