Auto-sleeper bathroom skylight
I have just purchased a second hand ( 2/2014 ) Auto-sleeper Broadway El Duo.The bathroom skylight has a plastic double skin. It appears to have mould between the two skins but this is impossible to get at to clean. There appears to be no way to dismantle
it.
Thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Probably easier to buy a new one. 2014 should still be available. Try ebay. Just change the window part no need to change everything. It has to be faulty if it's got mould on the inside of what is a double glazed unit. Has it got a hole in it where a bung
should go.0 -

Try these people. You may see what you need on their website.

If it is similar to my roof lights then it is not actually a double skin. There is an outer and an inner and vent holes on the inner to enable ventilation even when the light is fully closed without getting any rain inside. There are two push up handles
to select direction & keep the light open. If yours sounds like this then I am reliably told by my dealer that the two screws from the handles going up into the dome are unscrewed releasing the dome itself and then you can separate the two parts to clean them.
If you do this would you please post back here whether it was a success or not. This topic has appeared on CT before but no-one has ever come back to say they did it. Regards, Roy0
