Do you have a BBQ? I used to do homemade pizza on pizza stone in large BBQ or on a  teflon sheet works well, now we have Uuni which is portable, hubby makes delicious pizza even on the beach at new year. BBQ is ideal, make sure hot though firstly.

But may be some reading today may be interested to hear suggestions. We use a Cobb oven, just need to buy or make pizzas the right diameter to fit! Need to be quick to realise optimum cooking moment for taking out but once mastered, brilliant! Can use wood chips too to give that proper wood fired pizza experience.

Like you I have a cobb BBQ and have successfully cooked homemade pizza on both my cobb BBQ and my cadac BBQ.

I did notice but thought it makes a change from just BBQ food and more fun. Little smoking boxes give a wood fired taste too.

Yes, I have a similar gas outdoor cooker but much prefer that proper BBQ experience and taste that solid fuel gives.

I also discovered that I can cook a decent pizza in an electric multi cooker.

I once bought a pizza stone for the Cadac.  It was an 'unbranded' one and looked the same as the Cadac stone - it didn't last very long.  Cracked the second or third time we used it...
