Autowfix motor mover buy, off to a bad start!! (closed)
After some serious thought, I decided to purchase a motor mover. I looked at the ad in the ccmag from a company called "autowfix", they have advertised on here for a good number of years, I started to read some reviews on MM's and came across a few bad reviews
from some CC members, regarding their after sales service. So I phoned them up to inquire I mentioned the poor reviews, and was told that "You cant please everyone." I told them I would give it some thought and get back to them. I decided to bite the bullet
a few days later. I phoned on friday the 26/06 at 12:15pm and spoke to a male member of staff. I inquired about EGO Titanium priced at £779 fitted, I was assured about the warranty and agreed to pay on the day they mentioned that they would need to contact
their local fitting agent to see if he could fit within the 8 day time period, they took my name and mobile number and promised to get back to me to confirm.
Monday 29/06 and still no reply. I gave them until midday and phoned them, the woman who answered was informed of my situation and made some excuses, I asked if I could speak to a senior member of staff, she explained he was busy in the stockroom and would
get him to give me a call back. Monday evening and still nothing from autowfix, So here I am £800 to spend but autowfix dont seem interested in doing business, leaving me to question their standard of service as a company advertising in the CC magazine. I
do hope that any fellow members looking for a mover do not experience the lack of interest that I have had from autowfix, for me, It is time to look elsewhere. Any other members had a negative experience from this shoddy company? Like to hear your views.
