Pouring at Argeles
Well it had to rain some time! Since leaving Newhaven almost a fortnight ago it has been hot, sunnyg and dry. After a week of 30 degrees at St Pons, moved down to Le Haras site near Argeles and it has been scorching. Until today. Big thunderstorms began
at 3.30 and the site roads became flooded. Still chucking it down at 9pm. Fingers crossed it will get back to normal tomorrow. S
ite is packed with Brits and Dutch and I would say there are only about 5 vacant pitches and most of those would mean clever work with the motor mover to get into position. At least the rain has stopped the dust problem -
grass in short supply as expected. Off to somewhere south of Carcassone once awning and groundsheet dry out! Should add the lovely pool here and the Med are just at the right temperature to swim in.
