headlight glue on adapters

Hi, I have some glue-on adapters for my headlights ready for travel in Spain.  I have a peugeot boxer and there doesnt seem to be a marking on the headlight to place the "bender". Our VW car has this already and I am not sure where exactly to place it. 
Any ideas welcome, or maybe something different to do the job!  Thanks
