Creating privacy to clear Bathroom window

Frown Not happy with the fact that the large bathroom window in my caravan that is right alongside the toilet (!) is crystal clear.

I don't believe I am the only person to have had this problem with their caravan bathroom window but I don't know how to solve it,

I have been advised that it is not good to keep the casette blind in use as it can weaken the return spring action plus the fact that when deployed it prevents any light entering the bathroom, as it is designed to do.

I was going to apply a suitable plastic film in white translucent but have been warned by the film supplier that this would cause more problems. Apparently the obscuration film would absorb heat from the sun and on a good day this create considerable heat
in the polycarbonate double glazing window which could cause it to badly distort. Is this why the window is supplied by the maker as clear?

I considered a lightweight curtain (perhaps net) but the window surround is not suited to a curtain. Perhaps why the caravan maker did not fit one?

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
