When you are retiring and wondering what you will do you may, like we did, consider caravanning. However, it is a daunting decision. We contacted the club to see if we could hire a sited caravan to see what it was like and were told no. We could have hired one, but would have to fit a tow bar, check the car's suitability and insurance etc etc. It would be such an expense, not knowing whether it was for you. So it got me thinking that perhaps the club could have a couple of sited tourers per region for newcomers. There must also be some members who find towing a bit much as they get older and would also welcome just driving to a sited caravan. Is there any merit in the idea?
