France 2016 European championship

can any one help we are traveling to france next year for the first time we only travel uk but we were looking for some advice , our story below 

we want to do European championship next year so looking at best options for travel , was looking at Portsmouth to Caen ? What's the best why to travel euro tunnel or ferry ? then travel down with over night stops to eventually get central to Lyon , Bordeaux,
Toulouse as there is 6 stadiums within that area and 4 up paris  so taking the plunge that hopefully England will play in one of those 6 stadiums , all your advice would be appresaited , as the net is a long way round to find things
