Terminals on motor mover battery switch

I have a dealer fitted Truma motor mover. I noticed some time ago, but didn't really think too much about it, that the terminals on the battery master switch were not insulated in any way. The positive side of the switch is connected to the battery +ve,
and is permanently live.

Is this normal practice ? There's nothing close that the terminal could short out to, but I'm inclined to fit a cover to it.
