Powrtouch Evolution mover controls reversed

Anyone out there upgraded from a classic to an Evolution mover? If so how do you find the controls?

I've been back and forth to my dealer but I still find that the corner buttons on the remote don't pivot the caravan the way they used to on the old mover (on my old van). i.e. top L and bottom R should pivot the caravan clockwise. I got the dealer to change
the wiring so that it did this but then it went backwards instead of forwards!

I've checked the wiring diagram and the connections on the unit with the dealer who say there is no other way. I've spoken to Powrtouch who seem to agree that it should work as I expected and as marked by the curved arrows on the buttons.

I should be clear that this is a single axle caravan.
