Gas Consumption?

We have a 6 Kg calorlite bottle, bought with a new caravan, so have no experience with it. Our knowledge of Gas usage and different fittings, is nil, anyway as we have only just started.

If used solely for cooking with microwave assistance, and cadac barbequeing for two, will it last three weeks? We know there is a difficulty finding refills in the UK, so feel sure, near impossible in France. (Yes another how long is a piece
of string request)

If not, is there a tap conversion needed, you can buy to suit a more standard bottle, if we need to change over in France?
