Quiet french site with good cycling please?

We want to go to France for 17 days towards the end of June. There are just the two of us and we would like a smallish quiet site with good cycle routes. We love cycling through vineyards, along country lanes or visiting villages. 

I have spent spent hours and hours looking through so many books and on line sites when it finally occurred to me that thiswas the whole point of this forum! 

We will will be getting the Eurotunnel to Calais and are then flexible to go where ever. Your ideas would be brilliant! Thank you
