Scenic towing route to Spain
Good Afternoon,
I am currently planning a route to Spain and wondered what is the best, most scenic route to take.
The first route I was looking at was from Calais / Reims / Lyon / Perpignan / Vinaros / Alicante.
The second is Calais / Le Mans / Bordeaux / Pyrenees somewhere / Zaragoza / Alicante.
I am looking for some lovely scenic drives as we are going to take a really relaxed drive down, especially going over the Pyrenees. The first route via Reims & Lyon looks ok, but the Pyrenees stretch via Perpignan looks a bit dull! I was looking for some lovely
photographic mountainous scenery where the drive is pretty good too.
We are travelling in November so unsure if there is much snow about, towing with a Mitsibishi Outlander 4x4 and a Bailey Pageant Champagne.
Any help and advice would be much appreciated!
