Making life easy with hookup?

Hi - just been on our first ever outing in a caravan. We bought an old Hobby 1993 to try out and thouroughly enjoyed it.  We have been camping for 40+ years, in tents, trailer tents and a camper van for a few years but never really taken advantage of hook
up.  So I am wondering what electrical kit is acceptable to take that will not trip out campsite electrics.  Now that we have a lot more space than we are used to we are looking to make life as easy as possible on our trips away.  For instance, a pananini
maker for quick, easy breakfasts.  Would that be OK? What gadgets do you use to make life easy?
