Battery Life - how do I know how much is left?

Hi

 

I have just bought a 2001 elddis avante 524.  I understand that when connected to the main the battery is being charged also, but if I were to go to a site with no EHU how would I know how much life is in the battery?
I cant see anything within the unit where this might be displayed?
