Error Occurred

I keep getting a blue page appearing saying an error has occurred. Sometimes it says 'Planned Maintenance'.  This has been happening this evening (22 Oct) in GC.  Sometimes a second attempt succeeds and sometimes not.  Five Years seems to consistently get the error message.  Is there a Gremlin at work?
